Barbara (Clark) Blesch

Cass was born March 17, 1921, in Morehouse, Mo., the son of Bryan and Clara (Williams) Clark. He retired after 33 years with John Hancock Insurance Co., where he was the staff manager for the Evansville District office. Cass was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW Charles Denby Post No. 2953 and Bethel United Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Brooks) Clark; two daughters, Barbara Sue Blesch and husband, John, of Evansville and Joyce Jean Tanner and husband, Bill, of Boonville, Ind.; four stepsons, Michael Lewis and wife, Anita, of Evansville, Craig Lewis and wife, Aline, of Evansville, Richard Lewis and wife, Gloria, of Evansville, and Scott Lewis and wife, Dawn, of Evansville; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., the Rev. Joseph Fraccaro will officiate. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery, with a military service by the Vanderburgh Retired Veterans.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007, at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Condolences may be made to the family online at courierpress.com

Barb's father, Emanuel "Cass" Clark, age 86, of Evansville, Indindiana, died at 5:36 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
