Linda Ray (Spayd) Strange

Linda Ray (Spayd) Strange, 64, of Owensboro, Ky., formerly of Evansville, passed away June 29, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky.

Linda was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She was a 1964 graduate of Bosse high school.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Strange; daughter, Jennifer Wilhite and her companion, James Lee, of Beech Grove, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Sarah Brandau and her husband, Matthew; Andrew Frank and his wife, Paige; Jessica Schneider and Amber Wilhite; a great-grandchild, Rebecca Frank; and a sister, Laura Peter of Evansville, Indiana.

Linda was preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years, Don Frank; her parents, John and Alma (Ruff) Spayd; a sister, Betty Joyce Burke; and a brother, Johnny Gilbert Spayd.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.

Aunt Linda you reminded me so much of Mamaw (Bettye Joyce). May you rest now in the loving arms of the Lord. Give Mamaw a hug and kiss for me when you see her.
